I have searched the forum until my fingers bled for the bulb type of the sidelights for my mk2 Gal but to no avail. I have found plenty of very useful information on how to change the bulbs but not on the bulb types. I think my wife must have put the owners manual "on the side" never to be seen by man again. I think it would be a good idea to have a list of bulbs ordered by Gal/Sharan/Alhambra (if different) mk1/2/3 as I am sure I am not the only one missing the owners manual.

As it happens, I bought a brand new Mk2 manual (blue plastic folder including 3 booklets) from someone on ebay as I had lost mine. Typically, I found it a couple of days later. Here's the original listing:-

I got another one from ebay which cost a tenner..as the one i got with the car was dog eared and covered in grime from when i was using it whilst looking in the engine bay.lol.

OK so I got robbed! Nothing new in that, it happens all the time! However, this one is in absolute pristine nick, not even a crease. Doesn't even look like the pages have been opened.

 

I would'nt be surprised to hear that you can get them from Frords for a fiver though!
